Owner Operators – BC to California & BC to Alberta

Position: Owner Operator

Routes: BC to California & BC to Alberta

JOB DESCRIPTION

CPX is seeking new Owner Operators to complete routes between BC to California and BC to Alberta. As an Owner Operator, you will be part of a vast team that helps to transport temperature sensitive products for our valued customers throughout Canada and the United States.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Responsible for hauling temperature sensitive products across scheduled routes
• Completes scheduled routes between BC to California or BC to Alberta
• Conducts daily pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections
• Abides by and follows Provincial and Federal Motor Vehicle regulations
• Follows all health and safety guidelines and ensures safe operation of vehicle
• Provides updates and maintains track of temperatures of freight
• Performs other duties as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years tractor-trailer experience
• Valid Class 1 driver's license and clean commercial driver's abstract
• Ability to cross the border and drive in the US
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Previous mountain experience
• Ability to occasionally drive nights
• Proficient with satellite messaging and ELD
• Required to pass drug test, road test, and criminal back check
